The rear of the speaker is entirely smooth with no features to be found, on the underside is a 16cm x 3.7cm silicone pad that is marginally over 1mm in thickness. This has a decent non slip capability, but more importantly protects the aluminium frame from any surface it is placed on and vice versa.
Distance Under The One Sky 320kbps
The first test is to compare 235kbps Amazon tracks to some of my own 320kbps tracks. Few budget speakers highlight the difference, but given the price point of the AJ-91, 320kbps tracks should sound superior.
The following testing was conducted with a call to my mother on her Panasonic KX-TGJ322EB land line and the speaker was held with the grille facing me at a distance of 30cm. Mother advised that I sounded perfectly loud and clear as though I were speaking from a land line.
This is a very impressive result and quite possibly the best microphone of any speaker that I have tested. Usually in such tests, even holding the speaker within a few centimetres of my mouth, she claims I sound very quiet and distant almost like I were in a large tunnel. Such a result at a distance in perspective is very good.
I will freely admit that my experience is lacking when it comes to such matters, leaving me unable to make comment on whether the SUNMAY speaker represents good value in comparison to the costs involved. It would however be worth shopping around as you are likely to find the identical speaker available form numerous other sellers under a different brand with different packaging and even different model numbers.

It combines information from the radar and video systems with navigation data and uses this to determine speed limits and topographical road features before you reach them. The speed and gearshift strategy can therefore be modified to suit the selected driving mode. All according to Porsche standards. So you get more driving pleasure and efficiency from every metre.
It is late summer. We have just arrived at Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge in southern Arkansas, a land of swamps and forest. At dusk, a thunderstorm passes by in the distance. The storm recedes, darkness prevails, and rain begins to fall.
In the distance we hear the repeated hoots of a barred owl. Soon, a spring peeper sounds off from shrubs at the edge of the marsh. Then, to our delight, yet another owl calls nearby, with others hooting way off in the distance. Such depth and resonance! And finally, the high point of our night: a pair of owls start hooting together, their excited monkey-like hoots and yowls echoing across the hollow. We are breathless, spellbound by this otherworldly mixture of night sounds!
One of the most beautiful spots on earth, at least in our minds, is a remote lake in the Adirondack Mountains that we call Dead Tree Pond. In mid-June not long ago, we sat on sphagnum moss under spruces at the edge of the pond, and greeted the dawn with open arms and open ears.
But the gyrfalcon is also among the fastest birds measured in terms of its ability to maintain a consistent level of flight speed. While several other birds can exceed their speed over short bursts, the gyrfalcon can average about 50 to 68 mph over remarkably long distances without slowing or stopping, which few other species can do.
Haunted Houses is a collection of seven tracks in slow, melancholy, dreamlike, nocturnal mood. It's a work made of waiting, of grainy sounds and silences full of rustles. It's a work talking about isolation, either in a physical and mental space; which talks about full spaces and empty or restricted spaces, of presences and absences, of memory and hope, of distances, of houses and rooms. Rooms innervated with restlessness and waiting (the opening track "Sleepless"). Houses where memories crowd, layered memories that coexist with the present (the title-track Haunted Houses is a short electroacoustic study on perception: indistinct, evanescent sounds, old pianos in the distance, confused and ectoplasmic voices, furniture that moves from the floor above, sighs...). And then there are presences such as those of literary characters, which can come to life in the mind while reading (The death of Joe Christmas is inspired by the restless and controversial character narrated by William Faulkner in Light in August). Even absences find space in the album, manifesting themselves in their impalpable distance (the piece In Absence), as memories of a past that has no place in the present. Then the rooms can become places overloaded with pain (the track Torture Room), where this suffering and effort can take an expiatory, spiritual, meditative form. And after all this inner torment, even isolation can turn into an opportunity for reflection, "redemption" and sincere change: the final tracks Pure and Endless try to capture this renewed spirit, following a strongly emotional path. Endless closes the circle, but it can also reopen it. Haunted Houses was made with guitars, contact microphones, an old cassette recorder, field recordings, dusty and grainy lo-fi sounds, found objects, recordings of streets at night, sounds of a carpentry workshop, slowed sounds, manipulation of loops of classical music taken from the radio.
